A tragic swimming accident occurred on Thursday, June 12, 2025, in the Aquapark swimming lake in Moosburg an der Isar. A 73-year-old woman from the Landshut district lost her life. At around 12:15 p.m., passers-by discovered a lifeless person floating in the water and rushed to help. Resuscitation measures were initiated immediately, both by passers-by as well as by the emergency services and an emergency doctor.
