TV Türkheim celebrates: Ten championship titles at the Swabian championships!

The Swabian Championships took place in Memmingen in bright sunshine and summer temperatures. TV Türkheim, a club that is very popular in regional athletics, once again showed that they are a force to be reckoned with. This year the athletes were able to:ten championship titlesand achieve numerous podium places, like this Augsburger Allgemeine reported.

The U14 girls' 4x75 meter relay team was particularly outstanding, with a time of40.33 secondsbrought the title to Türkheim. This placed them in second place on the Bavarian best list. The relay consisted of Sookie Rebbe, Lorena Zettl, Marie Biagui and Eva Lutz.

Individual successes

Marie Biagui has proven to be a true talent and shone with three title wins in the W12: She won the 75 meters in10.48 secondsfor himself, won the 60 meter hurdles in10.64 secondsand jumped amazingly in the long jump4.51 metersfar. Sookie Rebbe followed her in second place in the 75 meters with a time of10.68 seconds.

Eva Lutz, also a young athlete, took first place in the long jump4.46 metersand achieved a personal best over 75 meters10.36 seconds.

A big team festival

But it wasn't just the U14 girls who caused a sensation. Ruben Obert (M12) made it to the top podium twice: he won the high jump1.40 metersand in the long jump4.48 meters. He also took second place over 75 meters10.68 seconds.

David Siegemund (M12) excelled in the shot put with a distance of8.50 metersand secured the title in the discus throw25.42 meters. He also came fourth in the 75 meters (10.93 seconds). Quirin Huber (U18) also showed strong performances and achieved third place in the long jump5.48 meters, while Elias Ritter (U18) took fourth place in the 1500 meter run5:22.21 minutesdocumented.

The successes from this championship not only underline the individual class of the athletes, but also the great team spirit that can be felt among the Türkheimers.
