Dantestadion, München, Deutschland - The Ludwig Jall Sportfest 2025 will be held in the Dantestadion in Munich on Saturday, May 24th. This 38th edition is one of the largest athletics events in Bavaria and has the status of a "World Ranking Meeting". Around 700 athletes from 15 nations are expected in Munich, which underlines the international importance of the event. Preparations for the sports festival began in October 2024, and Christian Steinmann heads a committed seven -member organization team as the event manager.

The permits were obtained from the municipal bodies in good time. An additional team of eight coordinators has supported the organizers since April 2025. On the competition day, a large team of 50 battle judges and around 50 volunteers are already needed to ensure that the event runs smoothly. To secure the event financially, sponsors are required; Without grants to the sports office, it would not be possible to carry out the sports festival. This year's motto of the sports festival is "Internationality, Inclusion, Individuality". A special highlight is the orientation of the open Bavarian para-athletics championships that enables athletes with and without impairment to compete together. Sophia Steinmann, the daughter of the event manager, coordinates the inclusion concern. Numerous food trucks take care of the physical well -being of the spectators on the event day.

The sports festival begins at 10 a.m. Entry costs 5 euros for adults, 3 euros reduced and 10 euros for a family card. In the run -up to the sports festival, there were already exciting competitions, the improvement of personal best and the fulfillment of qualification standards for important competitions were the highlights. So Irina Gorr (LG Stadtwerke Munich) won a 400-meter race in a personal best of 53.37 seconds, while the women's 4 × 100-meter relay also drew attention to itself with a time of 45.68 seconds. Micha Powell from Canada, who was supposed to compete in a significant duel over 400 meters, unfortunately had to cancel due to stomach problems, which dampened expectations of the competitions.
