Fatal work accident in Peiting: Caught man from disposal vehicle!

On Thursday afternoon, February 20, 2025, a tragic accident occurred in Peiting, in which a 42-year-old man lost his life. The incident happened around 1:55 p.m. when the emergency call was canceled that a person was trapped in the loading area of a disposal vehicle. Unfortunately, the alarmed rescue workers could only determine the death of the man from the hydraulic system of the vehicle.

The Weilheim criminal police have started the investigation under the direction of the Munich II public prosecutor's office to clarify the exact circumstances of the accident. So far there is no evidence of external debt. The investigation is still at the beginning, and the police can currently not make any further statements about the cause of the accident.
