Two foreigners in pomella for drunkenness arrested in traffic!
Pomellen, Deutschland - The Federal Police Inspection Pasewalk again makes headlines! A 37-year-old Pole was stopped and checked on the BAB 11, on the former Güg Pomelle. It turned out that an arrest warrant from the Wuppertal public prosecutor's office was available against him for drunkenness in traffic. However, the man was able to escape with a fine of 375 euros and thus prevented a 25-day replacement imprisonment.
But the police had another catch: a 45-year-old Lithuanian who was sitting in a van was also checked. He was also not a blank leaf - against him there was an arrest warrant from the Munich II public prosecutor because of drunkenness in traffic. Since he could not pay the requested fine of 4,150 euros and procedural costs of 216.87 euros, he landed behind bars. There he has to be served 50 days - a clear sign that the police consistently act against traffic offenders!
