Right attack in Rotthalmünster: suspicious arrested!

In the early morning hours of February 3, 2025, the authorities in Bad Griesbach were alerted: right -wing radical symbols were emblazoned at an apartment building on the market square. Shortly afterwards, the specialist commissioner of the Passau criminal police inspection took over the investigation together with the public prosecutor. The posters were immediately removed and secured by the Rotthalmünster building yard.

The investigators were able to quickly identify a suspect from the Rottal-Inn district. On February 4, officials carried out a search decision, ordered by the Passau public prosecutor, and secured several evidence. The 32-year-old suspect, who was temporarily living in Rotthalmünster, now sees himself suspected of having used indicators of unconstitutional organizations.
