Am 23. April führte die Polizeistation Maintal zusammen mit der Stadtpolizei eine erfolgreiche Fahrradcodieraktion durch. Bürger konnten kostenlos ihre Fahrräder mit einer Identifikationsnummer versehen lassen, um Diebstahl vorzubeugen.

Bicycle coding in Maintal: 27 wheels protected, theft discovered!

On Wednesday, April 23, the bicycle coding campaign in the Bischofsheim district center experienced a real rush of visitors! In cooperation with the Maintal city police, the initiative of the protective woman Heike Lachmann ensured that many citizens were able to provide their bicycles free of charge with the Friedberg owner Identification number (F.E.I.N.). From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. the coding device was used a whopping 27 times.

A particularly sensational incident: There was also a bike among the coded bicycles that has been considered stolen since 2015! This discovery now leads to further investigations. Drivers and cyclists in the region are asked: Protect your bikes - the police are on hand!
