Police stop highly armed speeders in Rosenheim – fines threaten!

On November 8, 2025, the police in Rosenheim took action when they removed two drivers from traffic who had obviously deviated from the legal requirements with their vehicles. This check took place at the intersection between Gießereistrasse and Münchener Strasse and is now causing a stir among drivers in the region.

The first driver, 22 years old and from Bruckmühl, had to answer questions from the officials. With a noise level of over 100 decibels, his vehicle clearly exceeded the permitted limit of 88 decibels. During the investigation, the police officers discovered serious technical changes: a non-standard sports rear silencer was installed, the exhaust flap was manipulated and even a vacuum hose was removed. In addition, the parts installed did not meet the manufacturer's specifications. The consequences for the young man are clear: he will be banned from continuing his journey and will be fined, which will result in points in Flensburg.

Another encounter with the police

The second driver, 20 years old and from Kolbermoor, was also stopped. His vehicle was also far too loud with a volume of over 100 decibels, although the permitted limit here is only 80 decibels. The technical inspection revealed that he had also made various changes: an impermissible wheel/tire combination, spacers fitted and an exhaust system that did not correspond to the standard specifications. The sports rear silencer was modified so that it worked without any noise reduction. In addition, this driver was not wearing a seat belt and had an unauthorized belt adapter installed in the belt buckle. An active radar detector was also discovered, so that in this case too a ban on further driving and a fine procedure were initiated.

Such checks make it clear that the police are determined to take action against technical manipulation and safety deficiencies in road traffic. It is precisely such measures that ensure that traffic safety and noise protection in cities remain at a high level.

What does the future say?

The incidents of last Saturday are alarming signals. They show that there are still some drivers who want to gain advantages through technical changes without considering the safety of the general public. The police will remain vigilant and will continue to carry out targeted checks to punish such violations.

Overall, it is important that vehicle owners comply with legal requirements in order to protect not only themselves, but also other road users. We can only hope that the action in Rosenheim serves as a warning for everyone.
