In the Upper Palatinate, the commitment to addiction prevention blooms. The Marien primary school Tirschenreuth and the girls' secondary school Waldsassen were recently awarded for their outstanding projects in the field of addiction prevention with first place in the competition "Strategies of good addiction prevention in the Upper Palatinate". Both schools were able to look forward to a prize money of 1,200 euros each, which was donated by the Sieglinde-Nothacker Foundation from Regensburg.
