Border control unfolds its power: smuggling in the bathroom!

Bademeusel, Deutschland - The federal police uncovered an attempted smuggling on Saturday morning in Bademeusel during a check on the Autobahn 15. When checking a vehicle approved in Germany, the officers discovered two Ghanaian men who wanted to enter Germany without valid residence papers. While the 48-year-old driver, also Ghanaeriner, was temporarily arrested, it turned out that one of the inmates presented an Italian residence permit from a person who was not present, while the other had no documents at all.

After the police measures were completed, the driver was allowed to continue traveling, while the two presumably smuggled people were rejected to Poland. This campaign is part of the temporarily reintroduced border controls and shows the continuing challenges in the area of illegal entry. - OTS
