Robber duo caught: Handbag robbery in Neukölln ends in chaos!

In a dramatic attack in Neukölln, two suspected robbers were arrested this morning after attacking a 34-year-old passer-by. Shortly after 3:50 a.m., the woman on Boddinstraße was pushed to the ground by a accomplice and two men and deprived of their handbag. After the crime the trio fled in a VW, but the police were quickly alerted and discovered the vehicle nearby.

The persecution ended with a spectacular collision: the VW driver, a 23-year-old, first collided with a taxi before collapsing with a police car who wanted to stop the flee of the robbers. Both suspects were arrested by the emergency services while female complicity could escape. The driver was under the influence of drugs and went without a valid driver's license. The police secured the VW, which had previously been stolen. A 46-year-old taxi driver and a police officer was injured during the campaign, but both were treated.
