In the early morning hours of March 11, 2025, a 23-year-old driver was stopped by the Braunschweig motorway police on the A2 in the direction of Berlin after driving past the checkpoint at an excessive speed. During the inspection, it turned out that the driver was neither in the possession of a valid driver's license, nor that he was sitting in alcoholic at the wheel. There was also an arrest warrant against him!

The Situation escalated when the man tried to attack the officials physically after blood samples were taken from him and his vehicle was searched. However, the attack was prevented by the quick intervention by the police, and the attacker was tied up with handcuffs. Fortunately, nobody was injured. The next day the man was brought to a judge who ordered custody. The consequences for the ruthless driver could be serious!
