Current accidents on A27 and A1: seriously injured and chaos in traffic!

On Monday there was a serious rear -end collision on Bundesautobahn 27 in Bremen, in which five cars were involved. The accident occurred around 12:35 p.m. when a 71-year-old had to brake due to traffic. Then three subsequent drivers drove onto his vehicle. The consequences were dramatic: three people, including two men (70 and 66 years) and a 63-year-old woman, had to be taken to the hospital with injuries. All vehicles involved were damaged and were sometimes no longer ready to drive.

During the clean -up work, the motorways 27 and 1 were completely closed towards Cuxhaven and Hamburg, which led to significant traffic disruptions. An emergency doctor was sent to the scene of the accident by helicopter to supply the injured as quickly as possible. The traffic commissioner has started the investigation into the cause of the accident. Fortunately, another rear -end collision between two trucks on Autobahn 1 was without injuries, but also caused disorders in traffic.
