Bremerhaven is starting a new event cooperation with Harbour’s Finest!

Something is happening in Bremerhaven! A fresh event cluster has been formed under the new umbrella brand “Harbour’s Finest”, which combines the creative power of five partner companies to organize meetings, incentives, conferences and events (MICE). These include the Atlantic Hotel Sail City, the im-jaich Hotel and Boardinghouse, the Liberty Hotel, the Climate House and the German Emigration Center. The aim is to transform events into real experiences with added value. If you think that's all, you're wrong! The cooperation aims to organize events ranging from small team buildings to large conferences with up to 550 participants and offers a wide range of accommodation options and gastronomic highlights in the Havenwelten.

With a clear focus on sustainability, as Hogapage reports, the partner hotels and locations are within walking distance of each other, which can minimize the guests' carbon footprint. Anyone who celebrates here is also doing something good for the environment, as 89 percent of those organizing prefer hotels and locations with appropriate sustainability certificates. Dennis Micknaß, Regional Sales Director at Atlantic Hotels, highlights the importance of maintaining a clear overview of the MICE opportunities in the region.

Diverse offers and supporting programs

Bremerhaven has more to offer than just chic conference rooms. The city presents itself with innovative supporting programs and a modern conference infrastructure, most of which is barrier-free. Events for up to 1,700 people can be organized here, and award-winning attractions such as the German Emigration Center and the Climate House continue to attract numerous tourists and conference participants. The event locations along the water create a very special atmosphere.

Whether classic or crazy, individual or as a complete package – Bremerhaven offers the right format for every taste. Special highlights include activities such as live cooking, crab peeling or acquiring a sailor's license. The reference to water and the city's maritime tradition is also consistently implemented in the events, as MICE Bremerhaven emphasizes.

Sustainability in event management

Another important aspect of modern event planning is sustainability. This is essential, especially in the MICE industry, where ecological and social responsibility should go hand in hand. The MICE Magazine emphasizes that sustainable planning must integrate both ecological and economic criteria. The choice of event location, the connection to public transport and the use of renewable energy are crucial.

Using local and seasonal products in catering could not only reduce the environmental footprint, but also strengthen the local economy. Planning tools like digital checklists and online event registration systems can reduce paper usage and enable efficient budget planning. A clearly structured plan also helps to avoid stress and integrate sustainable aspects into the planning.

Overall, Bremerhaven is an innovative and diverse location with a strong focus on sustainable event design and unforgettable experiences. Anyone planning an event here can look forward to a comprehensive offering that takes both the environment and the participants into account.
