CSU Eschlkam celebrates 10th anniversary barbecue with EM Public viewing

public viewing meets politics

Last Saturday the 10th traditional barbecue evening of the CSU local association took place in the Gasthof Zur Post in Eschlkam. This annual event was given a special note this time through a public viewing of the EM quarter-final game between Germany and Spain. But not only the exciting football game attracted the visitors.

The event was led by Matthias Wollinger, the chairman of the CSU local association Eschlkam. The invited guests included several prominent personalities from politics. Among them is the member of the state parliament Dr. Gerhard Hopp, who regularly takes part in this event. Auch Landrat Franz Löffler, sowie zahlreiche Mitglieder der Kreistags-Fraktionsgemeinschaft der CSU und ihre Verbündeten von Hohenbogenliste, Grenzfahne, GLLW und Jungen Liste waren zugegen. The former member of the Bundestag Karl Holmeier, who acted as spokesman for the community, also deserves special mention

The cozy evening not only offered culinary delights, but also a platform for political discussions. That evening was impressive that politics and sport can complement each other. During the game there was plenty of opportunity for discussions and exchange of views between the politicians and citizens present, which contributed significantly to promoting the common sense.

The choice of the venue - the Gasthof Zur Post - also played an important role. This location has been a center for social and political life in Eschlkam for many years. In such an environment it becomes clear how important the direct exchange between citizens and their political representatives is.

This barbecue evening was more than just a traditional gathering - it was a symbol of the connection of the community and the relevance of political presence in the everyday life of the citizens. Events like this make a significant contribution to the fact that politics remains tangible and understandable for people.
