Urgent recall: Dangerous angle grinder at Toom & B1!

The REWE Group has started an urgent recall for an angle grinder from the B1 brand, which was classified as dangerous due to a safety lack. The recall refers to the model with the production identifier 202403, which is sold in toom tree markets, B1-discount custody stores and online at toom.de. The sales period began in May 2024.

The main problem with this angle grinder lies in spark protection, which can break and lets it out. This poses a serious risk of injury for the users, which is why the return of the device is strongly recommended. Affected customers can return the angle grinder in all toom and B1 hardware stores, even without a receipt, whereby the purchase price is reimbursed. Online buyers, on the other hand, should contact the customer service from toom.de, which can be reached at 0221-46 70 67 10 or by email to service@tom.de.

Details on the recall

The recall affects the angle grinder with an output of 2400 W, as can be seen from further information. Customers can also use the contact form on the website toom.de/kontakt for questions. The press contact person for further information is Daria Ezazi from Toom Baumarkt GmbH.
