Burglary in Cologne: Police pack perpetrator after breaking breakthrough escape!
On Sunday morning, April 6, the Cologne police became aware of a dramatic burglary in an apartment building on Agrippastraße. Two suspects aged 21 and 33 were arrested after a motion detector raised the alarm in the apartment of a tenant living abroad. When the officials arrived, the men had already fled to the apartment of a 26-year-old Cologne native via adjacent roof areas and tried to escape through a community terrace.
The police found that the 21-year-old pepper spray and anesthetic carried with him. Both men could not demonstrate a permanent residence in Germany. They were treated in the police headquarters and are to be brought before a judge on April 7th. During her attempted escape route, one of the suspects had tried in vain to hide in a dumpster.
