FBS Office Systems takes over Waibel - expansion in Schwäbisch Gmünd!

FBS Office Systeme GmbH, a family company based in Schorndorf, has recently secured its expansion in the Ostalb district by taking over the Waibel office engineering company in Schwäbisch Gmünd. This strategic decision enables FBS to increase its market shares and further expand the customer base. The location in Weißensteiner Straße, which was previously operated by Waibel, is closed. Instead, customers will be looked after by the FBS locations in Greingen and Urbach in the future. This is an important step for the company, which had previously caused a stir in the industry by taking over Kretzler office technology in Geislingen and Kühner Bürotechnik in Göppingen.

With this takeover, FBS has now taken over 600 commercial customers from Schwäbisch Gmünd. The previous managing director of Waibel, Peter Waibel, is moving to the FBS technology center in a new role as a team leader. Four employees had previously been employed at Waibel; Two could be taken over while the others were retired. The merger reflects the current developments and the concentration process in the office technology industry, as managing director Bernhard Schäfer emphasizes.

FBS has expanded its offer in the past five years and offers a digital 360 ° overall package for commercial customers, which goes far beyond the original services of pressure and copy.
