The city of Furth in the forest is facing an exciting event: On May 22, 2025, the highly expected state garden show begins, which lasts until October 5. Environment Minister Thorsten Glauber (free voters) has already visited the site to check the progress of the preparations. A total of 11.3 million euros were invested in the project, which is the highest amount of funding that was ever paid for a state garden show. The next state garden show is planned for Bad Windsheim in 2027, followed by an anniversary edition in Nuremberg in 2030.
