In Hamburg, the police arrested a 40-year-old man who is suspected of damaging several parked vehicles in the Eimsbüttel district. The acts occurred between March 6 and May 13, 2025, especially in Niendorf and Stellingen, where the cars were attacked with an unknown object.

After extensive investigations by the State Criminal Police Office (LKA 132) and targeted missions by the police commissioner 23 and 24, the suspect was identified and temporarily arrested. After his detection treatment, however, he was released because no reasons for prison were made. Now the LKA checks whether the man can also be associated with other similar crimes.
