In a dramatic incident in Hamburg-Hammerbrook, a 31-year-old Libyer was arrested after trying to open an Audi Q8. An attentive witness discovered glass splinters in the underground car park of a hotel on January 29, 2025 at 3:04 p.m. and watched the alleged perpetrator who had entered the vehicle by fitting a side window. Together with another passerby, he was able to record the man until the police arrived.

After the police measures, the suspect was brought to the investigation prison. The decision about a possible arrest warrant is still pending and the investigation is still underway.
