Hannes Großkopf triumphs again at the Kapfenburg panorama!

At the 18th Kapfenburg panorama run in Lippach, which took place on April 27, 2025, around 140 participants competed. This number was below the field of participants in the previous year. The run, which opened a distance of 10.9 kilometers with several climbs and a total of 70 meters of altitude, attracted both hobby and competitive athletes. Schwäbische Post reports that Hannes Großkopf from the Sparda team with an impressive time of 38:15 minutes took first place and thus celebrated his eighth victory in the Kapfenburg panorama.

followed in second place Steffen Krebs from the Kreissparkasse Ostalb, who completed the route in 40:15 minutes. Lukas Lipp from Sysperto Crailsheim secured third place in 42:53 minutes. Michael Krüger from TSV Hüttlingen finished fifth with a time of 43:46 minutes. The oldest participant, Ernst Wolf from Lac Essingen, needed 1:08:41 hours for the challenge and showed that age does not matter when it comes to passion for sport.

results of women

Simone Schäfer from the Lindach running group was particularly successful for women because she won as a total tenth in a time of 47:49 minutes. Petra Virangi followed the second in 54:37 minutes. Heike Holl and Barbara Bullinger took three and four with times of 54:48 minutes or 54:57 minutes.

well organized event

The organizers of SV Lippach were very satisfied with the course of the event. Around 40 helpers and eight members of the German Red Cross were deployed to ensure a smooth process. Advertising for the next event of the Ostalb run cup, the IPF-Ries half marathon, is also pending. This will take place from Bopfingen to Nördlingen on May 3 at 5 p.m.

The event also celebrated the community and cohesion among the participants. Despite the lower number of participants compared to the previous year, the run revealed the unbroken enthusiasm for the running community in the region.
