Eight young talents are starting their careers at Hessen Mobil Mittelhessen!

On August 1, 2025, eight new junior employees began their training journey at Hessen Mobil Mittelhessen in Gelnhausen. An exciting time is beginning for the trainees who want to find happiness in their professional lives in various ways. The welcome of the young talents was ceremoniously organized by Hessen Mobil President Heiko Durth and department head Sylvia Hipfl-Träger.

Among the new trainees are five who are being trained as road guards. They will put their craftsmanship to the test in the road maintenance depots in Lauterbach, Nidda (two of which are part of this depot), Sterbfritz and Friedberg. Three dual students are also starting their path - two of them in civil engineering at the Technical University of Central Hesse and the Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences, while the third student is working on infrastructure and the environment at the University of Applied Sciences in Frankfurt.

Insights into training

During the introductory week, the new trainees had the opportunity to visit their future workplaces. The practical knowledge that you will acquire here will be supplemented by theoretical knowledge at the training and further education center in Rotenburg/Fulda. This not only gives you a comprehensive overview of your tasks, but also of the various organizational units that Hessen Mobil has to offer.

An important part of the training is the development of skills in various areas, all of which are aimed at maintaining and improving the transport infrastructure in Hesse. Hessen Mobil is not only committed to training young people, but also contributes to improving the training position situation in the region, which is a great advantage for many aspiring skilled workers.
