At around 4:30 p.m., the 23-year-old got into a verbal conflict with a 32-year-old who quickly escalated. The younger man struck his fist several times and then stepped onto the 32-year-old lying on the ground, who suffered serious injuries.

The attacker, who also beat his victim with a branch, was initially able to flee, but was quickly arrested by the police near the crime scene. The 32-year-old received medical help on site.
