On Friday evening, February 28, 2025, the Gelsenkirchen old town became the scene of a violent robbery! A 36-year-old seller was attacked at a sales meeting with two friends, while she wanted to sell three valuable designer handbags to a potential buyer. Suddenly two unknown men came on the scene!

With a knife they threatened the 62-year-old companion of the seller and robbed the bags worth several thousand euros before they disappeared in the dark. The perpetrators are still at large! The first suspect is described as about 1.80 meters tall and corpulent, has short dark curly hair and probably spoke Dutch. His accomplice is around 1.60 meters tall and wore a striking wine -red jogging suit.
