The mild November days in Hesse now seem to have come to an end. According to meteorological forecasts, there will be a significant change in the weather on November 6th. Meteorologist Dominik Jung expects moister air, which will lead to a stronger inversion as well as haze and high fog. A maximum temperature of 13 degrees Celsius is forecast for Frankfurt today, but this will change quickly.
Next night, especially in northern Hesse, the German Weather Service (DWD) expects frosty temperatures that can even drop to minus 2 degrees Celsius between midnight and 9 a.m. on Friday. If you don't like the cold nights, you should grab warm blankets! From Friday it will be foggy, especially along the river valleys, and maximum temperatures will fluctuate between 8 and 11 degrees. The weather forecast promises a cold, autumnal weekend, with temperatures slipping to 5 to 10 degrees and even isolated rain is likely on Sunday. A maximum temperature of 11 degrees is expected for Frankfurt on Saturday and Sunday.
