On Tuesday, the “Leon-Hilfe Islands” of the Hessen police were ceremoniously presented in Erlensee, in which around 180 preschool children took part. Together with the Mayor Stefan Erb, city council and representatives of the police, the little ones experienced a colorful supporting program. This initiative offers uncomplicated help to children in emergency situations and was created in cooperation with 43 local shops and public institutions that show their participation through clearly visible Leon stickers.

The mayor praised the proven prevention program, which was launched in 2018 in Erlensee. The children also had the opportunity to get to know the children's commissioner Leon and explore a patrol car. The event was organized by the city of Erlensee and the Südosthessen police.
