Fireworks chaos in Frankfurt: Unknown, missiles in apartments!

Burgfriedenstraße 14, 60487 Frankfurt am Main, Deutschland - Unknowns caused excitement in Frankfurt on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 by improperly handling fireworks. Already in the morning at 9:45 a.m., rockets and firecrackers flew through an open window to an apartment building on Kiefernstrasse. The fireworks detonated in the bedroom of the resident and caused considerable damage to property, but the worst failed to materialize: a fire was prevented by great happiness. The police currently have no evidence of the perpetrators.

In the evening, around 7:30 p.m., residents in Burgfriedenstraße in Rödelheim reported several explosions and saw fireworks in a cigarette machine, a trash can and a house entrance. When the police arrived, the polluters had already disappeared. Although there were no injuries and no significant damage was found, the act remains as an attempted property damage and a violation of the explosive law.
