Dangerous season: police warn bikers of accidents in East Hesse!

The motorcycle season 2025 starts and the police headquarters in East Hesse calls for vigilance! Last year, the most common causes of motorcycle accidents in the region were excessive speed, too small distance and uncertain turning processes. In order to avoid serious accidents and injuries, the police appeal to the personal responsibility of the bikers and at the same time require drivers to consider.

To drive safely through the season, the police give important tips: Check brakes, lighting and tires before driving! Always wear suitable protective clothing, including a helmet and gloves, and use striking warning vests for better visibility. Defensive driving and completing security training are also recommended. Regular checks are planned to support the motorcyclists to draw attention to dangers in road traffic.

On Sunday, April 6th, the police invite all media representatives to accompany the start of the two -wheeler season on the Wasserkuppe. There will also be a prevention stand there to talk to bikers about risks. Registration by April 3. is required.
