Speed marathon in Central Hesse: 2,850 Raser caught - driving bans threaten!
In a spectacular speed marathon of the Middle Hesse police, over 95,000 vehicles were checked at more than 60 measuring points on Tuesday. The result: 2850 traffic offenders were too fast! Particularly shocking: 19 drivers have to expect a driving ban because of their frenzy. A delivery driver who was stopped shortly before his driving ban is now reported because of his journey - most people cannot imagine how quickly such an accident can come.
on the federal road 455 near Wölfersheim, a car was flashed with a whopping 107 km/h instead of the permitted 70 km/h - that brings 1 point and a fine of 200 euros. And on the 480 motorway there were three razors that shot through the controls at speeds of 138, 130 and 125 km/h. You too have to expect driving bans. Police chief Stefan Jilg emphasized the need for such speed controls to increase traffic safety and praised the majority of road users for their compliance. A clear statement: "If you want to be fast, you have to drive slowly!"
