Fatal accident in Biebertal: motorcyclists are killed in Crash

Rodheim-Bieber, Deutschland - A tragic accident shook Biebertal on the night of Sunday, April 13, 2025. Around midnight, there was a serious collision between a motorcycle and an Audi A3 on the L3286 between Heuchelheim and Biebertal. The 37-year-old motorcyclist from the district of Gießen suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene of the accident. The two inmates of the Audi, a 38-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman from the Lahn-Dill district, were injured and had to be taken to the hospital.

First investigations indicate that the Audi drove towards Biebertal while the motorcycle was on the road. At the moment, the authorities assume that the cyclist may want to overtake an unknown vehicle. An expert was commissioned to investigate the accident, while the road had to remain closed until around 4 a.m. The total damage amounts to around 60,000 euros - 20,000 euros for the motorcycle and 40,000 euros for the Audi. Witnesses who have information about the course of the accident or the unknown vehicle are urgently asked to report to the police.
