On Saturday, May 17th, 2025, the Gießen main customs office in Kassel opens its doors for everyone who strives for an exciting career in customs from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Interested parties can find out about training and study opportunities and experience what the profession has to offer. Committed customs officers are ready to give a fascinating insight into the everyday life of customs.

The press spokeswoman Stephanie Auerswald announces a varied program: Visitors can look forward to bizarre species protection exposure, security demonstrations and the skills of the customs dog. In addition, students and trainees report on their experiences and everyday work at customs.
