On Friday, July 5, 2025, the Giessen City Theater will open its doors wide as part of the “City Theater Takeover” and offer a colorful program that appeals to all the senses. Director Simone Sterr opened the event, which serves as a platform for the presentation of clubs, creative groups and institutions from Giessen. Around 25 organizations, including the city's cultural office, Amnesty International and the Foreigners' Advisory Council, present themselves to visitors and show what Giessen has to offer culturally.
