Gemünden, Deutschland - A tragic accident occurred on Thursday evening on the A5: a high -quality race horse was seriously injured and had to be put to sleep. At 9:45 p.m., when a 46-year-old driver from the Rastatt district was traveling with his horse transporter, the horse broke through the underbody of the car due to unclear reasons. Thanks to a camera, the driver stayed calm in the cab and immediately stopped on the side strip.

The fire brigade had to calm the horse and a veterinarian was alerted. Despite the first measures, the condition of the noble animal was so catastrophic that only the redemption remained from his pain. The racing animal was finally put to the roadside. Several rescue workers were involved in the operation, including the Alsfeld fire brigade and the Homberg/Ohm.
