Summer adventure for families: Experience nature in a playful way in Wiesbaden!

A summer full of adventures and educational experiences is just around the corner! On Saturday, June 21st, families with children aged four and over can look forward to a very special event Wiesbaden Fasanerie Animal and Plant Park be happy. Under the motto “Experience the seasons with all your senses – summer”, the little ones can intensively explore nature and the forest.

From 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. the children can look forward to a varied program that is characterized by fun and curiosity. The participation fee is 6 euros per child and is supplemented by exciting activities that focus on seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting and feeling. Journey of discovery in the Fasanerie Park

The Fasanerie animal and plant park extends over 25 hectares in the picturesque northwest of Frankfurt am Main, surrounded by beautiful forests, meadows and streams of the Taunus. Over 40 native animal species live here, including sheep, goats, rabbits, wolves and even bears! The approximately 250 animals move in largely natural habitats, which offers an authentic animal experience.

A special highlight is the tree educational trail, an arboretum that not only invites you to marvel, but also offers discoveries for the whole family. Park hours are Monday to Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; in winter regularly until 4:00 p.m. Parking spaces are very limited, which is why we recommend taking line 33, which stops directly in front of the zoo.

A holistic nature experience

Events like these only capture a small portion of the many ways children can experience nature. If you look around Germany, you will find a variety of activities that promote sensual discovery of the surrounding area. For example, donkey hikes in various regions offer an exciting way of hiking for the little ones. Bird parks with bird of prey demonstrations, forest climbing parks or an exciting night hike to explore the wildlife in the dark are just some of the many creative offers available throughout Germany to introduce children to the beauty of nature.
