On April 25, 2025, an attentive witness alerted the police in Neubrandenburg about a presumably drunk driver. Around 9:20 p.m. he reported that a driver was obviously alcoholic with his car. The officers moved out with two patrol cars and discovered the car on a connection between Anklam and Bargischow.

After giving the stop signal, the driver stopped. During the control, the police found a significant influence on alcohol. The breath test resulted in an alarming value of 1.84 per thousand! The driver is now suspected of having endangered road traffic and faces criminal proceedings.
