Greifswald sets a strong sign against digital violence with a student project

In Greifswald, 18 large -scale posters set an urgent sign against digital violence under the motto "For you normal - brutal for others". These posters are the result of a competition in which students in grades 6 to 8 selected the best motifs. The liveliness and clarity of these motifs should raise awareness of the dangers of the digital world and show how different content can be perceived in social media.

The joint project, which was launched in cooperation with the Caspar-David Friedrich Institute of the University of Greifswald and the State Police Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, has the goal of doing preventive educational work. Accompanying the posters, materials such as college blocks and bookmarks are distributed in schools in order to continuously remind the students in everyday life. Further information on digital violence can be found on the police website.
