In the Sauerland, there will be considerable restrictions on rail traffic in the coming months. Deutsche Bahn has announced extensive construction work on important sections of the route between Hagen and Warburg, which are already starting on May 8 and should last until autumn 2025. The measures affect numerous train lines, including lines RE 17, RE 57 and RB 54, which are replaced by buses on the affected sections of the route.
