False drivers on A31: Spectacular chase ends lightly!

on Friday evening, shortly after 7:15 p.m., a risky traffic accident occurred on the A31 to the north, which was triggered by a false driver. The 64-year-old driver of a Dutch Renault drove to the motorway entrance at the Schüttorf-Ost junction against the direction of travel. In a curve there was a dangerous encounter with a 31-year-old BMW driver from the district of Grafschaft Bentheim, which was really on the road. In order to prevent a frontal collision, the BMW driver had to avoid and crashed into the external protection schedule.

The brave BMW driver did not put off and followed the false driver over a distance of about 4.5 kilometers until he could finally stop him on the hard shoulder. The police were informed immediately, and for the time being there are questions about possible consequences for the false driver.
