on Tuesday morning, around 7:55 a.m., a dramatic traffic accident occurred on the B214 in Venne when a truck trailer loaded with thousands of chickens tipped over. The 26-year-old driver lost control in a sharp left turn for unexplained reasons, which caused the trailer to fall and the tractor.

The consequences were devastating: numerous chickens landed on the road, some died directly at the scene of the accident. The rescue of the badly damaged trailer turned out to be extremely challenging because it threatened to further break apart. The police reacted quickly, blocked the street and ran the traffic via the B402 and Sunderweg, while a specialized company moved out with several trucks for accident removal from 10:30 a.m.
