Drug raid in Wulften: Police discovered three illegal plantations!

Hattorf, Deutschland - The Bad Lauterberg police have declared two illegal indoor cannabis plantations in the Old Circle of Osterode in the past few days. The premises, an unused farm and a former factory in Hattorf, were professionally rebuilt to enable the large -scale drug cultivation. Construction measures ensured their own water, electricity and fresh air supply, while all windows and doors were closely closed against light and smells.

On Wednesday, April 23, 2025, a 56-year-old suspicious, who is connected to the plantations, was arrested on site. After consulting the Göttingen public prosecutor, however, he was released the following day. Whether the man was actively involved in drug cultivation is currently part of the ongoing investigation. The police have set up an investigative commission to clarify the details and to secure the confiscated plants and cultivation technology. All affected buildings remain confiscated until further notice.
