in Bad Wilhelmshöhe, unknown burglars broke into an apartment on Ludwig-Erhard-Straße on Thursday evening, while the resident slept. Between 9:45 p.m. and midnight, the perpetrators probably reached the apartment over the balcony of the first floor. They pressed up a tilted window and searched the rooms for valuables.

The thieves escaped with gold and silver jewelry and a beige backpack full of personal things. It was only when the resident woke up shortly after midnight and noticed the loss and the open window that she alerted the police. However, an immediate search for the burglars was unsuccessful. The police are asking witnesses to report.
