Traffic chaos in Bad Homburg: child injured, alcohol control on the bike!

A dramatic incident occurred on Friday, April 25, 2025, in Bad Homburg when a child was touched by a car. The audio driver could not brake in time, the child was slightly injured, but was treated on site and handed over to his parents. The property damage to the vehicle amounts to around 2,000 euros. On the same day there was also a collision between a 15-year-old on a bicycle and a 57-year-old e-bike driver, the latter being slightly injured to the hospital.

Another incident occurred on Saturday morning when a 33-year-old man was checked by the police on a bike with beer in hand. He was apparently under the influence of alcohol and other drugs. Meanwhile, unknown persons tried to break into an apartment in Neu-Anspach, but were disturbed and fled by a resident. In Wehrheim, another break -in failed into a company building when the alarm system triggered and the perpetrators fled. In addition, an unsecured bike was stolen in Usingen - it is a mountain bike worth 1,200 euros. Witnesses are asked to report to the police.
