Overview of the police structure

The organization of the police is subject to a hierarchical structure that is regulated both at state and federal level. At the state level, the police are organized by the respective Ministry of the Interior, which structures the police authorities by decree or regulation. Within this structure, police inspections, directors and state criminal offices are subordinate to ensure regional security and order. An example of the structure in Lower Saxony comprises the Lower Saxony Ministry of the Interior and Sport as well as several police directorates in cities such as Oldenburg, Osnabrück and Hanover, as described in detail.

With the takeover of the new management position, Hoffmeyer will play an important role in the further development of police work in Delmenhorst. He enjoys the trust of his superiors and has proven to be competent and committed in the past. The coming months promise exciting challenges for the police inspection, especially against the background of the upcoming changes within the police structure in Lower Saxony.
