In the early morning hour of Saturday, at 4:30 a.m., a terrible traffic accident occurred on Sulinger Strasse in Diepholz. A 22-year-old pedestrian was injured life-threatening when he ran in the middle of the road for previously unknown reasons and collided with an approaching car. The 31-year-old driver was severely restricted in his view due to dense fog, so that he could no longer avoid the impact.

The young man was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Sulinger Straße is currently completely closed while the police are investigating the scene of the accident.
