Love blooms in Grabstede: Farmer Andre Mochner, known from the 20th season of “Bauer sucht Frau”, has given his heart to Mareike Becker. Mareike, a 32-year-old horse manager and competition rider from southern Hesse, managed to turn Andre's head. The two have been a couple for a few months, and three weeks ago Mareike even took the step of moving to Andre in the far north of Friesland. This reports NWZ Online.
What's particularly touching is that their relationship originally began on Instagram. “We exchanged countless messages and I had to fight for his attention,” reveals Mareike, who also shares a passion for horses. She previously lived in Otzberg, which meant that the two were more than 500 kilometers apart and often had to fight for dates to meet. But the distance is no longer an obstacle since Mareike broke up her tent in Hesse.
A new chapter in horse life
Andre runs his parents' farm in Grabstede together with his sister, where they keep around 40 horses and 20 cattle. Mareike is also professionally involved in the horse world as she continues to take part in show jumping tournaments. After moving to Friesland, she was also able to find a job in the region, which makes her plans for the future all the more tangible.
The two have already gone on many trips together, including romantic visits to the North Sea beach. They regularly share these memories on social media, and Mareike recently posted a touching photo of herself and Andre at sunset, in which she spoke of a feeling of kinship - a beautiful expression of their deep connection.
The future of reality TV
Andre is still interested in taking part in “Bauer sucht Frau” again. The show has established itself as an integral part of German reality TV in recent years Statista reported. Andre could soon be seen on TV again when he documents his love story with Mareike.
