Help! Fundraising campaign for needy children in Wilhelmshaven starts!

The pre-Christmas season is approaching and with it the start of an important fundraising campaign in Wilhelmshaven and Friesland. November 1st marks the start of a five-week-long initiative with the goal of helping needy children from the region so that they can receive a gift for Christmas. The organizers are working closely with the youth welfare offices in both cities to obtain gift vouchers that can be given out to families in time for Christmas. NWZ Online reports that the donation account will be open to collect funds from November 1st to December 7th.

If you would like to donate, you can do so in different ways. The donation account has the IBAN DE 18 2825 0110 0035 303171 and the BIC BRLADE21WHV. The donations are then distributed in the form of vouchers for local shops such as C&A for children's clothing as well as toys and school supplies. It is particularly pleasing that family vouchers for the Nautimo swimming pool are also being offered for 2025.

A successful engagement

The initiative was completed last year with a pleasing total of 109,902 euros and since the campaign began, over 1.1 million euros have already been donated. The names of the donors should be published if this is stated in the purpose of the transfer. It is important that the distribution of donations is always carried out under the supervision of youth welfare offices, daycare centers and schools to ensure that only demonstrably needy families benefit from the vouchers.

In addition, the campaign allows mothers to choose the gifts themselves and choose them from the Engelbaum Gift Shop. The aim of this campaign is not only to help children in need, but also to keep faith in goodness alive at a time when charity, hope and confidence are needed. Angel tree expects over 7,000 gifts to be distributed in 2025.
