After a brutal assault on a couple on Saturday evening in the cycle path underpass of the Frensdorf ring, two suspects, 25 and 28 years old, reported to the police in Nordhorn today. The men, both of them from Nordhorn, stated that they were involved in the incident, but they described the process differently than before.

The attack occurred around 10:35 p.m. when the 46-year-old couple was traveling by bike. The husband was seriously injured, among other things with breaks on the nose and yoke bone, while the wife was treated on an outpatient basis with bruises. The police continue to investigate intensively to clarify the exact circumstances of the attack.
