Passenger seriously injured: police are looking for witnesses for accident in Hanover!

A serious accident shook Hanover on Friday afternoon when an 86-year-old pedestrian was hit by a car while crossing the forest road. The senior who crossed the street at the height of the DE-Haen-Platz was hit by an approaching Skoda Fabia, driven by a 20-year-old Hanoverian, with full force and thrown onto the road.

Immediate help came from the rescue workers who provided the injured on the spot before he was transported to the hospital. Fortunately, the driver of the vehicle was not injured. The property damage incurred amounts to around 1,000 euros. To examine the accident, the police completely blocked the Waldstrasse for the duration of the investigation. Witnesses of the incident are urgently sought.
