Armed robbery on Sparkasse in Hildesheim - perpetrators fleeting!

On Monday morning, March 31, 2025, the Sparkassen branch on Rathausstraße in Hildesheim was attacked by two masked perpetrators. At around 10:45 a.m., the robbers entered the bank and threatened the employees with firearms to capture several thousand euros. Fortunately, nobody remained injured in the attack.

The fleeting perpetrators have not yet been able to be caught. According to the first investigations, one of the men is estimated at around 40 to 50 years and measures around 180 cm, while the other is said to be between 35 and 40 years old and around 170 cm. It is striking that at least one of the perpetrators spoke to an Eastern European accent and both wore dark jackets. The police ask for information from the population.
